Inspection should take place as follows:
• Before every use
• More frequently depending on the conditions of use and company circumstances
• At least once per year (EN 365)
Inspection is performed by a qualified person and must be carefully documented.
Parts used during a fall must first be inspected before being used again.
Harnesses and belts or connection equipment with recognisable defects must no longer be used.
Harnesses and textile parts must be discarded when bearing seams are damaged, they are deformed through heat, show damage from aggressive materials or breaks or cuts in the fabric are found.
They must always be discarded after nomore than 10 years.
In contrast, deformed and non-functioning fittings and eyelets can be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised representative.
Maintenance work may only be performed by the manufacturer or a person authorised by it. Parts without recognisable Information about CE marking and manufacturer must be discarded.
Storage and care
PPE and evacuation equipment made oftextiles must be stored in dry and cleanrooms protected from light.
IMMOOS has the necessary training and is authorised by law to carry out expert inspections.
You can send us your equipment for the annual inspection, or we are happy to perform the inspection on site at your location.

• Inventory of existing PPE and evacuation material
• Inspection of individual parts
• Evaluation of condition
• Function check
• Report for documentation
